Ever heard of people which spends only an hour per day to online and earns 1000USD (approx. RM3458)?
In fact, you can do it too (probably), no matter where you lives, as long as postman are able to deliver you your payment and that you're willing to spend some time to read this article. No! This isn't anything about asking you to join whatever MLM business. Try listening to music in "Launch Audio Player" if you felt bored (You'll need to be logged in for the menu to appear).
So, how exactly we earn money online by just spending an hour each day? And what's the "probably"? What I'm going to teach you here is about blogging (in a simple way of explanation, blog = internet diary), the thing you're reading right now. No kidding, you can earn money with writing diary, the more people reads it, the more you'll be able to earn, so you need to be able to compose (that's the requirement/the "probably" I'm mentioning). Thanks to internet advertising programs like Google Adsense, est., we're able to accomplish that.
If you have one of these advertising programs working in your page (blog) while people are accessing it, lets take Google Adsense for example, a piece of script load their ads to your page, as people clicks on the ads or simply accessed your page with that script, Google will pay you money (based on page impression & ads clicks). And in the end of each month, if you've reached their minimal payment rate ($100 for Adsense), they will send you the payment by check/cheque with your selected shipping service (USPS/Express/est.), which can be withdraw from our local (Malaysia) bank that normally takes around 2 weeks to process to your bank account.
Now, I'm sure you have many questions about the procedure to do it, like: Where do I get a blog (free)? How do I apply for Google Adsense? How do I place the script into my blog? How do I increase my page traffic? What is trackback? ...est. I'll try to include basic to them within this post entry.
Lets break it down to a few steps:
- You'll need a blog, I recommend using Blogger with their default template (as its bought over by Google) or Blog.com...choose Blogger if you don't want to think. Below is a few choice for you to get a free blog:
- Blogger
- WordPress
- Blog.com
- Google Page Creator
- fatejsin.com's = = (not implemented yet), ok, I'm joking...
- After you got yourself a blogging account, do some settings and blog something, like: "What happened when I was alone last Saturday" (I'll write about the detail on "How to blog" in another post, another time). When you're done with that, its time for you to get an Adsense account (by getting an adsense account from my referral link below, you'll get personal support and advice from me on increasing your earning, you're losing nothing of course):
Tick "individual" and be careful of your "First Name" and "Last name", they have to be the same as your bank account's to be able to withdraw. Fill up the rest of the forms and follow their instructions on applying. - Wait for a few business days for Google to review and process your registration (should be in 1, 2 days). Finally, after you got your Adsense account, time to integrate the script to your blog...to do that, check the appropriate links below:
- As for Google Page, you just have to paste the codes to where you want them to show up. I'll post a detail version of post about them another time. Ops! Almost forgot - Get you Adsense codes. Search around the Help Center and you should find most of your question answered.
- Basically, after you added the codes to your blog, you're done. What's left is about optimizing your blog and exposing it. I'll write about it sometime later, still, I'll tell you something about "trackback". Trackback is a system that shows reader a link from the original article in the end of the blog or the article itself. For example, you find this entry of my blog interesting and wanted to write something about it on your own blog, and you entered a "trackback URL" to my entry's permanent/fix link. Soon or later you see your post URL under my blog entry, which is good for both of us, as it increases our visits. Don't worry, I'll fill you up with more information in my "What is Trackback?" blog entry.
- The last thing would be acquiring the check/cheque and banking it in into your bank account. If you messed up your "First Name" and "Last Name", open another account, a saving account would be nice. As for which bank to open it, I personally recommends CIMB (previously BCB) as their transaction fees for the check/cheque were one of the lowest in Malaysia.
Feel free to post you questions in our forum, like in General Discussion or Chit-Chat...not planning on opening a new board for this yet, maybe in the future.
