Listen to an iPod, or any otherelectronic devices during a storm (even a distant one) and you might just get yourself burnt, by your device that is.
A canadian jogger suffered wishbone-shaped chest, neck burns, ruptured eardrums and a broken jaw when lighting travelled his earphones wires. As always, picture tells more (click for larger image):
According to Fire Captain Baron Ross, the incident was likely due to a fluke problem with the pyrotechnic device, which of course, double checked before the actual live show. Both of the victims were sent hospital while Beyoncé visits them after her live performance. It is a genuine concern? Or plainly damage control? I say both.
Air purifier in taxi. Read for your own safety!! (This was actually an email I received from my friend, with many forwards..."I", "me", est. in the article below refers to the original email sender, probably a female. Like before, made some changes to it...without changing the story of course.) (My comment will always be bracket like this one and the one before, so that you won't get confused in your reading - fatejsin)
No matter the taxi driver is chinese, malay or indian, PLEASE BE AWARE! If you notice that there is a sound of spray of perfume or air purifier inside a taxi, be alert, as it might be some kind of impotence spray!
It happened to me. It was about 12.45 AM when I got into a taxi driven by a malay man. After a few minutes of road, I suddenly heard a sound of spray and there was a smell like air purifier. I felt weird as to why the driver put two types of air purifiers in his taxi. The smell immediately reminds me about this forwarded email that I read. I started to be aware of my surroundings. There's puff from the purifier every few minutes. I felt very worried and scared.
